Trystologist - Sales Associate - Position Currently Open

In this role you enjoy working closely with people from all walks of life who bring in their intimate needs and concerns. Being a sales associate at Trystology, also known as a “Trystologist”, requires you to be sensitive to our customers’ needs and use discretion and tact in communication about intimate topics. Additionally, you must be comfortable handling intimate apparel and adult sensual products. You must also be comfortable doing hands-on demos and providing dressing room assistance. There will be initial and ongoing training but you must be motivated to self-educate, ask questions and seek knowledge about products and sexual wellbeing. 

In this position customer service and sales are your main priority but you must be willing/able to work individually or with the team, in down time, to complete tasks from cleaning to arranging products to tagging to organizing to ensure the store functions properly. These duties require the ability to manage your time, stay focused and organized as you multitask in between customers. 

Position is 10-20 Hours per week depending on store demands. Typical shifts 4-6 hours 2-3 days per week including weekends and evenings. Some shifts require being able to work alone.  Must commit to one employee meeting/training per month typically on Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• Available to work at least 10 hours per week including weekends/evenings

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.

• Physically able to move about in a store including standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, carrying, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out with the body, arms, or legs, pulling and lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Sometimes these movements are made quickly and repeatedly.

• Ability to navigate Apple/Mac computer/laptop/handheld/mobile phone systems with intermediate computer and keyboarding skills.

• Familiarity with a register and POS systems

• Have at least 3 years experience in retail sales and/or customer service 

• Respectful and able to interact with customers of all types

• Good merchandising skills
