How we long to escape the uncomfortable nature of strong emotions—the flood of all that it means to be human. Awareness in its most essential form also means acceptance. When we sit solidly within a moment, we become free. Not free of the flood, but free of grasping at sensations as they arise. Be still. Be solidly seated. Be free.
